The Mary B is a documented Barite producer in the Lake George mining district of Park County, Colorado.
Featuring deposits of Beryl and Auriferous pyrites in the exposed quartz veins, a large open cut mine nearly 100' feet long, excellent access and a secluded location.
The district has been historically mined for gem grade beryl (aquamarine), Barite, gem grade quartz, rare earth elements and small amounts of Gold and Silver.
Primary workings are comprised of a large open cut style mine nearly 100 feet long and over 35 feet wide.
Secondary workings include multiple prospect cuts and shafts, driven into the exposed outcropping of the small hillside.
The deposit is comprised of a heavily mineralized quartz and feldspar vein, nearly 3'ft wide in sections.
Vein system has been worked on the epithermal level, no more than 15' feet in depth.
The outcropping appears to be a continuous lode vein driving north west into the historic "Blue Jay Deposit", known for gem grade beryl.
A primary staging and camping area is located near the mine workings, featuring level ground for campers or multiple vehicles.
Accessible with any vehicle type in the warmer months, 4x4 required during the winter.
The Mary B is a unique mineral property with potential for exquisite crystal and gemstone deposits.
A perfect location for the beginning enthusiast up to an established mining company.
